KMAT Admit Card 2026: Hall Ticket for September 20 Exam Yet to Be Released, Check Download Steps

The Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) admit card for 2026 has not been released yet, even as the exam draws closer on September 20, 2026. The Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA), which conducts KMAT for admission to MBA and MCA programmes across Karnataka's private colleges, is expected to issue the hall ticket on the official website, kmatindia.com, in the coming days. No confirmed release date has been announced so far.

Once live, candidates will be able to log in with their application number and password (or date of birth) to download their admit card.

How to Download the KMAT 2026 Admit Card

• Visit the official website, kmatindia.com.
• Click on the "Admit Card" tab on the homepage.
• Log in using your application number and password (or date of birth).
• Your KMAT 2026 admit card will appear on screen.
• Check every detail carefully, then download and print it.

Candidates are advised not to wait until the last day to download the hall ticket, since heavy traffic on the website closer to the exam date can cause delays. Downloading early also gives candidates time to flag any errors before the exam.

Details Mentioned on the Admit Card

The KMAT hall ticket will carry:

• Candidate's name
• Candidate's photograph
• Application number
• Exam date
• Exam timing
• Exam-day instructions

The admit card is common for both MBA and MCA aspirants — the specific course a candidate has applied for is printed on the card itself, along with the exam date and shift details.

Exam Day Rules: What's Allowed and What Isn't

KMAT 2026 is a remote-proctored test, and candidates must follow strict exam-day protocols:

• No electronic gadgets, including calculators, are permitted.
• Only a ball-point pen, an HB pencil, and an eraser are allowed as stationery.
• The admit card and a valid photo ID must be kept within easy reach throughout the exam.

Documents to Carry on Exam Day

• Printed KMAT admit card
• Original photo ID proof (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Passport, etc.)
• A photocopy of the same ID
• Two recent passport-size colour photographs

What to Do If There's an Error on Your Admit Card

Candidates should cross-check every detail on their admit card against their application form the moment it is downloaded. If there's a mismatch, it should be reported to KPPGCA through the phone numbers or email address listed by the exam authority, with the application ID kept handy for quick verification.

Fields that can typically be corrected include:

• Name spelling
• Application number
• Date of birth
• Reserved category
• Exam schedule
• Test centre name and address
• Signature and photograph

Reporting errors as soon as the admit card is downloaded — rather than close to the exam date — gives candidates a better chance of getting them fixed in time.

Exam Pattern and Duration

KMAT 2026 will be conducted for a total duration of two hours (120 minutes), in a single slot, with no sectional time limit. This means candidates can move freely between sections and are not bound by a separate timer for each one — but they must complete the full paper within the overall 120-minute window, as the test closes automatically once time is up. There is no provision to request a change of exam slot; candidates must appear at the date and time printed on their admit card.

Arrival Time and Exam Day Checklist

Candidates are advised to be present at least one hour before the scheduled exam start time, and to log in at least 15 minutes prior to the test, with their printed admit card and a valid photo ID ready for verification. If a technical issue arises while logging in, a time window is provided to resolve it.

Official Website

All updates, including the admit card release, will be published on kmatindia.com. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official website directly rather than relying on unofficial sources, since login credentials and admit card downloads are only available there.
