The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, has started accepting applications for the Kerala Law Entrance Examination (KLEE) LLM 2026.

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, has started accepting applications for the Kerala Law Entrance Examination (KLEE) LLM 2026. Interested candidates can apply online at cee.kerala.gov.in/llmonline2026. The last date to submit the online application is July 10, 2026. The registration process will close at 5:00 PM on that day. The KLEE LLM 2026 exam is set for July 26, 2026. It provides admission to two-year LLM programs in various law colleges in Kerala. Both government and privately funded law colleges under CEE Kerala are included.

Who Can Apply?

Candidates must have an LLB degree from a recognized university. Those with a three-year LLB or a five-year integrated LLB are eligible. Final-year LLB students who are yet to receive their results can also apply, provided they meet the qualifying marks mentioned in the prospectus. The minimum qualifying percentage varies by category. General category candidates need a minimum of 45%, SEBC candidates 42%, and SC/ST candidates 40%.

Application Fee and Payment Options

The application fee has to be paid online when applying. CEE Kerala accepts payments through net banking, debit cards, credit cards, and UPI. There is no option for offline payment this year.

Exam Pattern for KLEE LLM 2026

The KLEE LLM exam is an objective type test with 200 multiple-choice questions from ten different law topics.
Each correct answer gives three marks, and one mark is deducted for each incorrect answer.

How to Apply for KLEE LLM 2026

The prospectus outlines a five-step online application process. Candidates should follow each step in the order provided on the portal.

  1. First, register on the website using a valid email address and mobile number.
  2. Next, fill out the online application form with your personal and academic information.
  3. Then, pay the application fee through the online payment methods listed.
  4. After that, upload your photograph, signature, and necessary documents.
  5. Finally, take a printout of the acknowledgment page for future use.

What Candidates Should Do

  2. Read the prospectus to understand the eligibility criteria and reservation rules.
  3. Prepare your LLB mark sheet, photograph, signature, and ID proof.
