A significant day has arrived for medical aspirants in Kerala, as the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE Kerala) is set to release the final allotment result for Round 1 of the NEET UG counselling 2025 today, August 18. This announcement will be a crucial step for the 5,946 candidates who have been eagerly awaiting their seat allocation. The result will be available on the official website, cee.kerala.gov.in. Next Steps for Allotted Candidates

Once the final allotment list is published, candidates who have been allotted a seat for MBBS or BDS admission must complete their admission formalities. This includes reporting to their respective colleges between August 19 and August 24. During this period, candidates are required to submit all necessary documents for verification and pay the required admission fees. This is a critical step, as failure to report within the stipulated dates may lead to the cancellation of the allotted seat.

The CEE Kerala had previously issued a provisional allotment list, but it was revised after the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) postponed the AIQ round 1 counselling. This revision was done to ensure a smooth and fair process for all candidates. According to the merit list, the most preferred choices among the top 300 rank holders were the prestigious Government Medical Colleges in Kozhikode, Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, and Thrissur, highlighting the popularity of these institutions among the aspiring students of the state.

Important Reminders

Candidates should have all their documents ready, including their NEET admit card, rank card, mark sheets, and other required certificates, to ensure a seamless verification process at the allotted college. This final step is essential for securing the seat and starting the journey toward a career in medicine.
