The Kerala Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE) has launched the profile verification and defect correction window for KEAM 2026 candidates. Candidates who have applied for admission to engineering, pharmacy, architecture, medical, and medical-allied courses through the online application process can now check and correct their profile details via the official KEAM 2026 Candidate Portal at cee.kerala.gov.in.
The opportunity to make corrections will be available until 10th May 2026, 6:00 pm. It is important for all candidates to complete the verification and correction process well before the deadline to prevent any issues during the admission process. All KEAM 2026 aspirants seeking admission to engineering, pharmacy, architecture, medical, and medical-allied courses under KEAM can take advantage of this facility.
Through the candidate portal, applicants can review key information such as name, photograph, signature, nativity claim, reservation status, and eligibility for fee concessions. The defect correction feature allows candidates to upload necessary documents to fix any errors in their profile. Correcting these errors is crucial for maintaining eligibility in the relevant rank list and for the counseling process.

Correction Process for KEAM 2026 Application
Students who want to make changes to their KEAM 2026 application can do so by logging into the KEAM 2026 applicants' log-in using their application number and password. Once logged in, students can see all the details they have provided, including their nativity status, fee concession status, and reservation status. All the information will be displayed except for details related to the NRI category. Students should make sure that all the information they have given is correct.
What Issues Can Be Fixed in the KEAM 2026 Form?
The candidate should check for any mistakes in the KEAM 2026 form. They can find these mistakes by looking at the "Memo Details" section on their account page. Some common issues that may appear in the KEAM form include missing proof of nativity, incomplete reservation documents, errors in personal details, and problems with the candidate's photograph or signature. These problems can be fixed by uploading correct and valid documents and making sure all personal details like name, photograph, and signature are accurate through the KEAM 2026 Candidate Portal before the deadline on May 10, 2026.
According to the prospectus rules, only candidates with "Keralite" nativity are eligible for communal reservation, special reservation, and fee concession benefits. Candidates who do not have "Keralite" nativity cannot get reservation or fee concession benefits, even if they have uploaded other supporting documents. Therefore, candidates who are looking for reservation or fee concession should ensure that their nativity proof is properly uploaded and certified on the portal. Even if there is no separate memo mentioning issues related to nativity, they should still address this issue.
Actions Required from Engineering and Pharmacy Applicants
Those applying for engineering must meet the eligibility criteria for the KEAM 2026 entrance exam and submit their Plus Two or equivalent scores on the website before the specified deadline. Only after that will they be considered for the engineering rank list. For pharmacy admission, only applicants who qualify in the pharmacy entrance test will be included in the pharmacy rank list. Candidates applying under the Non-Resident Indian quota will get an extra opportunity to correct any mistakes after the candidate portal notifications are released.
Support via Email for Profile Defects
If any inconsistency is found in the name, photograph, or signature in the profile details of KEAM 2026 candidates, they must inform CEE Kerala at ceekinfo.cee@kerala.gov.in. The email should be sent with the subject "profile defect" on or before 6th May 2026 at 6:00 pm. Candidates should remember that no documents or certificates submitted to the CEE office through any method other than the KEAM 2026 Candidate Portal will be accepted. Documents must be uploaded and defects corrected only through the KEAM 2026 Candidate Portal.
Next Steps for Candidates
After submitting all the data and after the deadline on 10th May 2026, CEE Kerala will finalize the candidates' profiles and generate the rank lists for engineering, pharmacy, and other courses. If the candidates' profiles are finalized without any defects, they will be considered eligible for the counseling process. Seats will be allocated based on merit, eligibility, preferences, and seat availability. Candidates are advised to complete the verification process on time.
