The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, has started the option entry process. This is for Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) 2026 BTech candidates. The choice registration is now open at cee.kerala.gov.in. The option entry began on July 2, 2026. Candidates need to submit their choices before July 6 at 4 PM. The result of the Phase 1 trial allotment will be announced on July 8. This process is part of the Centralized Allotment Process (CAP). Only those who are on the KEAM 2026 engineering rank list can register. CEE Kerala released this rank list on June 27, 2026. The provisional category list for Kerala Engineering and Pharmacy courses was released on June 29, 2026. Candidates should make sure any category-related issues are cleared before finalizing their choices. The CEE helpline is available at 0471-2332120 and 0471-2338487 during working hours.

How to Submit KEAM 2026 Options for BTech?

Candidates need to log in to the KEAM 2026 candidate portal. They can add, change, or remove their choices before the deadline. Here are the steps to follow.

  1. Visit the official CEE Kerala portal at cee.kerala.gov.in.
  2. Click on the KEAM 2026 candidate portal login link.
  3. Enter your application number and password to log in.
  4. Go to the option registration section on the dashboard.
  5. Choose colleges and BTech branches in the order of your preference.
  6. Save each option and check the full list carefully.
  7. Confirm and submit before July 6 at 4 PM.

What Comes After the Trial Allotment?

The trial round shows a probable seat based on your choices. It is not the final result. Candidates can still change their choices after seeing the result. After that, CEE Kerala will conduct the final Phase 1 allotment. The KEAM CAP counseling has three main phases. A mop-up round will follow to fill any remaining vacant seats.

  2. Make a shortlist of your preferred colleges and BTech branches.
