The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, has officially announced a revision in the schedule for the release of the KEAM 2026 Admit Card. While previously expected earlier this week, engineering and pharmacy aspirants will now be able to access their hall tickets starting April 8, 2026, through the official candidate portal at cee.kerala.gov.in.

This minor delay allows the CEE to finalize the allotment of examination centers across the state and for candidates appearing in Dubai. High school students are advised to keep their application credentials ready for the upcoming download window.

Revised KEAM 2026 Schedule & Timelines

Despite the shift in the admit card release date, the examination schedule remains unchanged. Candidates should prepare according to the following timeline:

The Engineering entrance exam will be conducted in a single shift daily from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Candidates must report to their respective centers by 11:30 AM for biometric verification and security checks.

How to Download Your Admit Card on April 8

Once the link is live on Wednesday, follow these steps to secure your hall ticket:

  1. Visit the official CEE Kerala website: cee.kerala.gov.in.
  2. Select the "KEAM 2026 - Candidate Portal".
  3. Enter your Application Number, Password, and the system-generated Access Code.
  4. Navigate to the "Admit Card" tab on the left-hand menu.
  5. Check for the "Print" option and save a color copy on an A4 sheet.

Pro-Tip for Aspirants: If your portal displays a "Memo" instead of the admit card link on April 8, it indicates a discrepancy in your uploaded documents (such as a blurry photograph or an invalid Class 10 certificate). You must upload the correct documents immediately to clear the memo and enable the download.

Exam Pattern and Scoring Strategy

The KEAM 2026 is a Computer-Based Test (CBT) featuring 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for the engineering stream.

  • Total Questions: 150 (75 Mathematics, 45 Physics, 30 Chemistry)
  • Total Marks: 600
  • Marking Scheme: +4 for every correct answer; -1 for every incorrect response.
  • Duration: 180 Minutes (3 Hours)

Essential Exam Day Checklist

When you head to the center between April 17 and 23, ensure you have:

  • Printed Admit Card: The digital copy on a mobile phone is strictly prohibited.
  • Original Photo ID: Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, or PAN Card.
  • Reporting: Reach the venue at least 2.5 hours before the exam start time.
  • Stationery: Only a simple transparent ballpoint pen is allowed for rough work on the sheets provided at the center.
