The Karnataka Examinations Authority is expected to, finally, declare the result of the Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2026 by May 20 to May 25.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has already released the answer key of the Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2026. The answer key was released on May 10. The Karnataka Examinations Authority is expected to, finally, declare the result of the Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2026 by May 20 to May 25.

All the candidates who appeared for the examination can download the scorecard/result of the Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2026 at the, previously, provided link cetonline.karnataka.gov.in . The link will ask for the application number of the candidate and the first four characters of their name. 

  • KCET result 2026 date is expected between May 20–25, 2026; Karnataka Examinations Authority typically holds a press conference at around 11:30 AM and activates the result link by 2:00-3:00 PM on the result day.
  • The scorecard will contain subject-wise Common Entrance Test marks (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology), 2nd PUC qualifying marks, overall rank, category rank, and whether a candidate has qualified the examination.
  • The rank is being calculated on a 50:50 weightage: 50% from KCET exam marks and 50% from standardised 2nd PUC board marks.
  • In 2025, the Karnataka Common Entrance Test result was declared on May 24, 2025, which is 37 days after the exam. The overall pass percentage was 88.36% with 2,75,677 qualified candidates.
  • After the result, KEA will release the toppers list, seat matrix, verification slip, and open KCET 2026 counselling registration (expected August 2026).

GETTING PREPARED FOR THE RESULTS

Candidates waiting for the KCET results are being quite stressed and anxious. The candidates must understand that it’s completely normal to experience a sense of anxiety in hours leading up to result declaration day. 

In this situation, students are advised to not stress and try grounding techniques like slow breathing. They must try to bring loads of positivity around themselves. Students can try light activities like music, going for a walk, talking to loved ones. Students are advised to keep checking the official portal of the Karnataka Examinations Authority to keep themselves updated with the newer details regarding the examination.

HOW TO GET THE KCET 2026 RESULT ?

The KCET 2026 results will be declared on the official website of KEA and students will have to enter their login credentials, roll number and registration number. Prior to the results, students are advised to keep their admit cards ready for smooth access of KCET scorecards when they are declared.
