For context, the MBA and MCA papers were held on June 14, and the MTech exam followed on May 23. That means it's already been more than 56 days since the MBA/MCA exam and over 77 days since the MTech exam — a wait that's stretching noticeably longer than what KEA has put candidates through in recent years.

How Long Has KEA Usually Taken?

Looking back, KEA generally wraps up the result process within 35 to 45 days of the exam. The one exception was 2023, when it took a full 59 days. This year is already past the 57-day mark, so if the trend holds, a result could land any day now — though it's worth noting nothing official has come from KEA on a date or time.

How to Check KEA PGCET Result 2026

Once the result is out, here's how you can pull up your scorecard:

2. Click on the link for your relevant result — MBA or MCA
3. Log in with your PGCET number and date of birth
4. Fill in the captcha and hit login
5. Your scorecard will show up with your score and rank — download it from there

One thing to keep in mind: KEA doesn't post out scorecards, so there's no physical copy coming your way. It has to be downloaded from the website. The scorecard itself will carry your name, PGCET number, category, rank, marks scored, and the program you applied for.

The Counselling Process, Step by Step

Once results and cutoffs are out, the seat allotment process kicks off. It runs roughly like this: document verification, option entry, a mock seat allotment (so you know where you'd land before it's final), a window to tweak your options, the first round of actual allotment, choice filling, fee payment, and finally reporting at whichever college you've been allotted. If seats are still lying vacant after that, KEA runs a second round to fill them.

No Rechecking, So Make Sure You're Prepared

There's no revaluation option for PGCET — once your score is out, that's final. KEA doesn't entertain requests to recheck or correct scores after declaration. Also worth knowing: your rank is based purely on your PGCET score, not your qualifying degree marks — though you'll still need to meet the minimum eligibility (50% for general category candidates, 45% for reserved categories) to be counted in the merit list at all.

MTech candidates get one extra document — a separate merit list PDF — something that isn't issued for the other programs.
