The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the official schedule for the online NEET MDS 2025 Stray Vacancy Round seat allotment, bringing a final and crucial opportunity for dental aspirants. The entire process for this round, which aims to fill the remaining seats in dental colleges across the state, will conclude on September 6, 2025.

This round is particularly important as it is the last chance for candidates who have not yet secured a seat. It is essential for aspirants to understand that previous options will not be considered, and they must enter new choices for this round.

Key Dates and Process for the Stray Vacancy Round

Aspirants must adhere to the following schedule to ensure their participation in this final round:

  • Option Entry: Candidates must enter new options for their preferred college and course. The previous choices submitted in earlier rounds are now void.
  • Caution Deposit: A caution deposit is required to participate. This deposit will be adjusted against the college fee upon seat allotment.
  • Provisional Allotment Result: The provisional seat allotment result is scheduled to be published on September 1, 2025.
  • Final Result: The final seat allotment list will be released on September 2, 2025.
  • Document Submission & Fee Payment: Candidates who are allotted a seat must pay the required fees and submit their original documents between September 3 and September 4, 2025. This step is mandatory to download the admission order.
  • Final Reporting: The last day for aspirants to report to their respective allotted dental college is September 6, 2025.

The KEA has issued a stern warning against submitting any fake or fraudulent documents, stating that such actions will lead to the cancellation of the allotted seat and could result in criminal prosecution.
