The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the schedule for document verification for KCET 2026 qualifying candidates. The document verification process will take place from May 11 to May 22, 2026, at the KEA office located at 18th Cross, Sampige Road, Malleswaram, Bengaluru – 560012. Candidates can choose their preferred verification slot online starting from May 7, 2026, through the website cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

Before visiting the KEA office, all candidates are required to complete the document verification form online. It is important to note that document verification is a compulsory step for all eligible candidates who wish to take part in the online seat allotment process.

Students who have selected any of the codes A1, B1, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, or O in their eligibility clauses must attend the KCET 2026 document verification process. Students whose eligibility is under Clause Y are not required to go through Document Verification and can directly take part in the Online Seat Allotment Process. Only students who successfully complete the document verification process are allowed to proceed with the online seat allotment and select their preferred choices. It is necessary for students to choose a date for document verification from the provided options.

Document verification must be done by the student themselves; no one else can represent them. The student must be physically present during the verification. To book a slot for verification, students need to log in to cetonline.karnataka.gov.in using their personal login details. Slot booking for document verification will begin on 7th May, 2026. Students can select a date and time that suits them. Once the date and time are booked, the student will receive a notification about their verification date. The student must attend the verification on that exact day and time. No other date is acceptable.

The applicants must bring their original documents along with one copy of each document to the document verification center. The key documents include the KCET 2026 admit card, application form, Aadhaar card or any valid ID proof, Class 10 marksheet, and Class 12 marksheet.

They should also carry their study certificate and parent’s certificate if required. Additionally, any other documents related to the applicant’s selected eligibility criteria must be brought to the verification center. All the documents should be organized properly in advance to make the verification process smoother. In the document verification stage, KEA authorities will check each document against the information provided in the KCET 2026 application form. Each document will be reviewed and updated on the official website.

Candidates must make sure all their documents are valid and match the details they filled in when they applied. If there are any mistakes, incorrect information, or missing documents, the whole process might be stopped. Once the verification is done successfully, candidates will receive a message confirming they are eligible to take part in the online seat allocation process.

Document verification is a necessary step for anyone who wants to join the KCET 2026 seat allocation. Candidates who don’t complete the verification cannot apply for college or course choices online. This process helps KEA check the candidate’s eligibility and related admission details. Candidates are advised to book their verification slot early to avoid any delays. The KEA office will be open during the specified times for the verification period.
