What Is Karnataka PGCET Mock Allotment?

Karnataka PGCET mock allotment is a preliminary seat-allocation exercise conducted before the actual Round 1 allotment.

It gives candidates an indication of the college and course they may receive based on factors such as:

• PGCET merit or rank
• Category
• Eligibility
• Seat availability
• College preferences
• Course preferences
• Order of options submitted

The mock result is not a final admission result. A candidate should not treat the college or course shown in the mock allotment as a confirmed seat. The final allocation can change because candidates may modify their preferences and because the choices of other candidates also affect the actual allotment process.

What After Karnataka PGCET Mock Allotment 2026?

Candidates should use the mock result to review their preference list before the next applicable deadline.

If the preferred college is allotted

Candidates can review the complete option list and determine whether the existing preference order accurately reflects their choices.

If a lower preference is allotted

Candidates can review their options and, where permitted by KEA, modify the priority order, add suitable options or remove choices they no longer prefer.

If no seat is shown

Candidates should review their eligible college and course preferences rather than assuming that they cannot receive a seat in the actual allotment. The mock result is only an indicative allocation and does not determine the final Round 1 result.

Karnataka PGCET 2026 Counselling Schedule

The previously notified Round 1 schedule included option entry, mock allotment and subsequent seat allotment.
