In a significant update for students seeking admission to management and computer applications programs in Karnataka, the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the eligibility list for the Karnataka PGCET Counselling 2025. This list is a crucial step towards the final admission process and includes the names of candidates who have been verified under the PwD (Persons with Disabilities) and Ex-Defence categories. Checkout at https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/pgcet2025.

According to the official list, 49 candidates from the PwD category were verified, with 16 being deemed ineligible. In contrast, all 56 candidates who appeared for the Ex-Defence category verification were marked as eligible. For test-takers from other categories, the KEA has allowed them to download a "claim slip" after their online document verification. All students with this claim slip are eligible to participate in the upcoming counselling rounds.

What Happens Next?

While the official dates for the option entry have not been released yet, the KEA is expected to announce them very soon. The option entry period is a vital stage where candidates will be able to select their preferred colleges and courses based on their ranks and eligibility. This year, the counselling process aims to fill over 30,000 MBA seats, making it a highly competitive and anticipated event for aspirants.

Students are advised to regularly check the official KEA website for the latest updates on the option entry schedule and the overall counselling process.
