The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has opened the correction period for the Karnataka Postgraduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) 2026. Candidates can now make changes to their application forms on the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. The correction window is open from July 3 to July 6, 2026. KEA has also published the schedule for document verification for certain courses. This verification will take place on July 10, 2026, at the KEA office in Bengaluru. The process will be held from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM on that day. PGCET is held every year for postgraduate admissions in Karnataka. It is used for admission into MBA, MCA, ME, MTech, and MArch courses offered by state-run institutions.

Who Needs to Attend Document Verification?

Not all PGCET candidates are required to attend the document verification this month. Only students applying for selected ME, MTech, and MArch courses need to go through this process. MBA and MCA applicants will go through a separate counseling process later. MArch candidates must also bring their PGETA 2026 marks card. This is a mandatory requirement for admission to the MArch program. 

How to Edit the PGCET 2026 Application Form?

KEA has designed the correction process to be fully online for the convenience of students. Candidates should follow these steps in order.

1. Visit the official portal at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/pgcet2026.
2. Click on the candidate login link on the homepage.
3. Enter your application number and date of birth to log in.
4. Select the fields you want to correct and make the necessary changes.
5. Save the changes and download the updated confirmation page.

How to Book the Verification Slot?

Candidates who have been called for verification must bring both original documents and self-attested copies.
The KEA office is located at Sampige Road, 18th Cross, Malleswaram, Bengaluru. It is important to arrive on time, as being late may result in losing the verification opportunity.
