Candidates can submit their applications until 11:59 PM through the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/pgmds2026. The application fee payment window will remain open until 6 PM on August 18, 2026. Only candidates who have qualified for NEET MDS 2026 can register for Karnataka MDS counselling. KEA conducts state-level counselling for Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) admissions in government and private dental colleges across Karnataka.

Who Can Apply for Karnataka NEET MDS 2026?

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Must have qualified NEET MDS 2026.
• General category candidates must meet the applicable 50th percentile qualifying requirement.
• SC, ST and OBC candidates must meet the qualifying percentile prescribed under NEET MDS regulations.
• Candidates claiming reserved-category benefits must provide valid category certificates.
• SC candidates must provide details showing whether they belong to SCA, SCB or SCC.
• Candidates applying for SC-reserved seats must provide the required RD number.
• Candidates must satisfy Karnataka's applicable domicile and eligibility requirements for reserved and government seats.
• Candidates from outside Karnataka cannot claim Karnataka-specific SC, ST or OBC reservation benefits under this counselling.

KEA sorts the Karnataka MDS seats into four broad categories. The full college-wise seat matrix appears in the official e-brochure released on August 15.

How to Complete Karnataka NEET MDS 2026 Registration

Candidates should keep their NEET MDS result and category documents ready before starting the application.

1. Visit the official KEA portal at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/pgmds2026.
2. Click on the New Candidate Registration link.
3. Enter your NEET MDS 2026 roll number and other required details.
4. Fill in your personal, academic and category information.
5. Upload scanned copies of the required documents in the prescribed format.
6. Pay the application fee by 6 PM on August 18, 2026.
7. Submit the application form.
8. Download and save a printed copy of the completed application for future reference.

Documents Required for KEA Verification

Candidates should keep the following documents ready:

• NEET MDS 2026 admit card and scorecard.
• Class 10 mark sheet as proof of date of birth.
• BDS degree certificate.
• BDS semester-wise mark sheets.
• BDS internship completion certificate.
• Dental Council registration certificate.
• Study certificates for the previous seven years.
• Caste and income certificates, where applicable.
• Aadhaar card.
• One recent passport-sized photograph.
• Reserved-category candidates should ensure that their certificates are valid and available for verification.

Karnataka MDS Counselling Rounds

KEA will conduct Karnataka MDS counselling through multiple rounds, including:

• Round 1 Seat Allocation
• Round 2 Seat Allocation
• Mop-Up Round for vacant seats
• Stray Vacancy Round for remaining seats

Each round may include separate stages for option entry, seat allotment and reporting. Candidates who do not complete registration within the prescribed deadline will not be eligible to participate in these counselling rounds.
