The Joint Admission Committee (JAC) Delhi has officially announced the admission schedule for B.Tech and B.Arch programmes for the academic session 2026-27. Students seeking admission to some of Delhi’s top engineering and architecture institutes can now apply through the official JAC Delhi admission portal.

ONLINE REGISTRATION PROCESS

According to the official notification, the online registration process will begin on May 28, 2026, at 10:00 AM and continue until June 9, 2026, at 11:30 PM. Candidates must complete both registration and choice filling within the deadline to be considered for admission. The registration fee is INR 1,500, which is non-refundable and must be paid online.

MAJOR GOVERNMENT INSTITUTES OF DELHI

The admission process is being conducted for five major government institutes in Delhi. These include Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), Delhi Technological University (DTU), Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-D), and Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU). These institutes offer several undergraduate programmes in engineering and architecture.

THE PROCESS OF APPLYING TO THESE UNIVERSITIES

Students interested in applying must go to the official Joint Admission Committee, Delhi webpage and click on the “New Registration” link. Candidates must enter their personal and academic details, create login credentials, upload required documents, and pay the registration fee online. After completing registration, candidates can fill in their preferred institutes and courses before submitting the application.

The registration fee can be paid through various online payment methods such as debit card, credit card, net banking, and UPI. Offline payment options will not be accepted under any circumstances. Candidates are advised to ensure that all uploaded documents are clear and valid to avoid rejection during the verification process.

COURSES THAT JAC DELHI OFFERS

JAC Delhi offers admission to a wide range of B.Tech specialisations, including Computer Science Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and many other branches. B.Arch admissions are also available for eligible candidates. Since course availability differs from one institute to another, students should carefully check the official admission brochure before filling their choices.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

For eligibility, candidates must have passed Class 12 with the required subjects from a recognised board. Admission to B.Tech programmes will be based on JEE Main scores, while B.Arch applicants must possess valid architecture entrance examination scores. Eligibility conditions may vary depending on the course and institute selected.

Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website and their registered email for important updates regarding counselling, seat allotment, and admission procedures. Since the application window is limited, students should complete the registration process as early as possible to avoid last-minute technical issues.
