JNU UG Second Merit List 2026 Released; Fee Payment Deadline August 14
The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has made the Undergraduate (UG) Second Merit List 2026 available on its official admissions website at jnuee.jnu.ac.in. This list includes the results for admissions to BA (Hons.), B.Sc., and Certificate of Proficiency (COP) programs for the academic session 2026-27. Along with the general second list, JNU has also published the results for candidates in the Defence, Jammu and Kashmir / Ladakh, and Covid Ward supernumerary categories. Candidates who are shortlisted must complete their pre-enrolment registration and fee payment by August 14, 2026. Admission is based on CUET UG 2026 scores. Only candidates who successfully pay the fee within the given time will have their seats confirmed.

- Log in using the CUET UG 2026 application number and password.

How to Complete Pre-Enrolment Registration and Fee Payment?
Selected candidates must lock their seats during the payment window. If you miss the deadline, you will lose the seat you were allocated.
- Log in to the admission portal with your registered details.
- Open the pre-enrolment registration form for the programme you were allotted.
- Fill in the required academic, personal, and category details.
- Upload the requested documents in the proper format.
- Pay the admission fee online using net banking, debit or credit card, or UPI.
- Download the fee receipt and confirmation for physical verification.
What Happens After the Fee Payment?
Candidates who complete the payment must appear for physical verification of documents from August 17 to 20, 2026. Original documents such as certificates, category proof, and the CUET UG 2026 scorecard will be checked at the respective centres. If a candidate does not attend the verification, they may lose the seat. JNU will publish the Final Merit List on September 3, 2026, and the admission process will close on September 15, 2026.
