Counselling using JEE (Main) All India Rank will take place on June 18, 2026. The counselling round based on 10+2 scores is planned for June 24, 2026. Each of these rounds will be held online. Applicants submitting their forms by June 14 will be taken up for the JEE AIR round. Candidates applying no later than June 19 will qualify for the 10+2 round. At the JIIT Noida campus, only the first JEE AIR counselling round is conducted. This one round includes admissions for all Jaypee universities.

For JIIT BTech 2026, eligibility details are as follows.
For admission via JEE AIR, candidates must have a valid JEE Main 2026 result for this pathway.
- For CSE, IT, and ECE, the highest permitted AIR is 65,000. For the remaining BTech streams, the AIR cap goes up to 1,20,000. For admission based on 10+2 marks, candidates should have cleared Class 12 in 2024 or 2025. Those taking the exam in 2026 may also apply. In Class 12, applicants must score at least 60% overall.
- For SC and ST applicants, the minimum cut-off is reduced to 55%. Every applicant must have taken Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects. In addition, they must have studied one among Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or a technical vocational subject.
