Allotment letters can be downloaded from July 12 to July 17. Document verification and admission processes will take place from July 13 to July 17.

Who is included in the Jharkhand BTech Merit List 2026?

The merit list includes candidates who have registered with JCECEB for counselling. All applicants must have cleared the JEE Main 2026 Paper 1 conducted by NTA. Ranks are determined based on the JEE Main 2026 percentile scores. Only registered candidates can access the counselling portal to fill their choices. Candidates who missed the registration process cannot appear in this Round 1 list. They might still get a chance in later rounds of JCECEB this year. Updates on eligibility will be posted on jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in.

How to fill choices for Round 1?

1. Registered candidates should log in to enggcet.jceceb.org.in using their login details.
2. They should click on the Choice Filling option under Round 1.
3. The system will display all participating colleges and BTech branches. 
4. Candidates should add colleges and branches in the order of their preference.
5. They must save and lock their choices before the July 9 deadline. 
6. Editing is allowed only on July 10, 2026. 
7. Choices that are not locked will be treated as final by the portal.

What are the mandatory steps before locking choices?

1. Candidates must pay the online counselling fee to proceed further.
2. Payment can be made through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI. 
3. The JEE Main 2026 scorecard needs to be uploaded on the portal. 
4. The signed confirmation page also needs to be uploaded.
5. Candidates from the PH category are exempt from paying the counselling fee.
6. The board has not revealed the exact fee amount publicly.
7. Candidates should check the fee displayed on the payment screen before confirming the payment.

How many rounds will JCECEB conduct this year?
