The JEECUP 2026 entrance exam will be held from June 2 to June 9, 2026, and it will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) format. Once the admit cards are issued, all the required procedures for the UP Polytechnic entrance exam are finalised. How to Download the JEECUP 2026 Admit Card?
- Candidates should start by going to the official JEECUP website at jeecup.admissions.nic.in using their web browser.
- Once they are on the homepage, they need to click on the link that says 'Download JEECUP Admit Card 2026'.
- They will then be asked to enter their registration number and date of birth on the login page.
- After that, they should choose the examination group from the dropdown menu and click the Submit button.
- When the admit card appears on the screen, the candidate can download it and print a copy for themselves.
Pattern of JEECUP 2026 Examination
This printed copy will have all the important details, like the roll number, name, address of the exam centre, time to report, exam date, and the time slot. The candidate must carefully check all the details, such as their name, registration number, and the name of the examination centre. On the day of the exam, the candidate must bring a printed copy of the admit card and valid ID proof and also have their Class 10+2 or equivalent certificate with them. The JEECUP 2026 exam is likely to be conducted in a computer-based test format.
Candidates will have to answer 100 multiple-choice questions within a time limit of two and a half hours. The paper will cover topics from the physics, chemistry, and mathematics syllabi of the 10+2 level. Candidates are encouraged to be precise in their answers to avoid losing marks due to negative scoring.
It is not advisable to start studying new topics close to the exam date. Instead, they should focus on revising the formulas and concepts they have already studied and practise solving previous years' question papers. This will help them understand the exam pattern better.

Counselling registration for eligible candidates is planned to begin in June 2026. Candidates must register for counselling on the official website according to the given schedule.
