  • Fee: A non-refundable fee of ₹200 per question challenged is typically required.
  • Evidence: Candidates must upload supporting documents (NCERT references or solved steps) to justify their challenge.
  • Outcome: If a challenge is accepted, the question is either dropped (marks awarded to all) or the key is updated, and the fee is refunded to the specific candidate.

What Happens After the Results?

Immediately following the result declaration on April 20:

  • JEE Advanced Registration: The top 2,50,000 qualifiers will be eligible to register for JEE Advanced 2026, with the window expected to open on April 23.
  • JoSAA Counseling: The centralized counseling for NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs will begin after the JEE Advanced results in June.
