Qualified candidates from JEE Advanced 2026 can now apply for the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2026. The online application process will begin on June 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM IST and end on June 2, 2026, at 5:00 PM IST through the JEE Advanced website. Only those who have qualified in JEE Advanced 2026 are eligible to apply for AAT. This test is required for admission into the Bachelor of Architecture program at IIT Bhuaneshwar, IIT Kharagpur, and IIT Roorkee. Candidates must pass both the AAT and meet the prescribed Class XII performance standards to be considered for the B. Arch program.

How to Register for JEE Advanced AAT 2026?
Candidates need to register themselves on the official JEE Advanced website, which is jeeadv.ac.in, to complete the AAT registration process. They should use their JEE Advanced login details and follow the steps provided on the candidate dashboard. Before starting the registration process, candidates should make sure they have all the necessary documents ready. The entire registration process is conducted online, and it must be completed before the deadline. No applications will be accepted after 5:00 PM IST on June 2, 2026.
JEE Advanced AAT 2026 Exam Pattern and Duration
The JEE Advanced Architecture Aptitude Test 2026 will be held in an offline pen-and-paper format and will last for three hours. The test will evaluate a candidate’s skills in architecture through questions related to drawing, visualisation, and spatial awareness. Candidates must bring their admit card and ID proof with them.
JEE Advanced AAT 2026 Admit Card and Requirements on the Examination Day
All students who successfully registered for the AAT can download their admit card from the official JEE Advanced website. On the day of the exam, they must bring a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid ID, such as an Aadhaar card, passport, driving licence, voter ID, or any other accepted form of identification. Anyone arriving late at the examination centre will not be permitted to take the test.
What Lies Ahead For the Candidates?
The results of the AAT 2026 will be announced on June 7, 2026, at 5:00 PM. Candidates who pass the test will be eligible for B.Arch admissions in 2026 through the JoSAA 2026 counselling process. The JoSAA counselling is tentatively scheduled to start on June 2, 2026. It is very important for candidates to complete the AAT 2026 application process as early as possible. Only those students who qualify for JEE Advanced with valid ranks are allowed to fill out the application forms. This examination will be conducted offline.
