The Round 1 seat allotment results were released on July 10, 2026. Candidates can check their assigned branch and college online. The OR-CR list shows the opening and closing all-India ranks. It also displays the ranks for each college, branch, category, and quota.

• The counseling process includes three major government colleges in Chandigarh.

Allotted candidates must pay Rs 40,000 to confirm their Round 1 seat. Payment can be made through net banking, credit card, debit card, or e-challan. The payment deadline is July 13, 2026. Students must also select their choice of willingness before the deadline. The options include Freeze, Slide, and Float. Freeze locks the current seat and prevents any further changes. SLIDE allows upgrading to a better branch within the same college. Float allows switching to any participating college in later rounds.
