The Indian School of Business (ISB) has confirmed that the application window for the second round of its Post Graduate Programme in Management for Young Leaders (PGP YL) will close on February 22, 2026. This prestigious 20-month full-time residential programme is specifically designed for high-potential undergraduates and early-career professionals with less than 24 months of work experience. According to the latest admissions update, the Round-2 phase is the final opportunity for aspirants to join the 2026-28 cohort, as the school has discontinued its previous deferred entry options like the original YLP and Early Entry Option (EEO).

Eligibility and Mandatory Requirements

To be considered for the PGP YL, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree or be in their final year of graduation. The admissions committee requires a valid GMAT, GRE, or CAT 2025 score to evaluate the analytical capabilities of the applicants. Unlike the standard PGP, which requires a minimum of two years of experience, the PGP YL targets "freshers" who demonstrate a leadership mindset through academic excellence and extracurricular achievements. The application must include three reflective essays and a professional or academic recommendation to provide a holistic view of the candidate's profile.

  • Round-2 Deadline: February 22, 2026
  • Experience Limit: 0–24 months as of June 15, 2026.
  • Official Portal: ISB PGP YL Admissions
  • Application Fee: ₹2,500 (Non-refundable)

Selection Framework and Timeline

Following the February 22 cutoff, the admissions team will initiate a rigorous shortlisting process. Verified applications will move to the virtual interview stage, scheduled for April 2026, where candidates are assessed on communication clarity, maturity, and fit with the ISB culture. The final admission offers for Round-2 are projected to be released by mid-May 2026. Successful candidates will then join a diverse cohort across the Hyderabad and Mohali campuses, starting their journey in July 2026 with a curriculum that blends essential management concepts with advanced data analytics.

Conclusion

The February 22 deadline marks a critical junction for young leaders aiming to accelerate their management careers through ISB's revised application pathways. By securing a spot in this competitive cohort, students gain access to world-class faculty and a global alumni network. Prospective students must ensure all documentation is verified and submitted before the portal closes to remain eligible for the final admissions cycle of the year.
