In a major step towards expanding legal education options, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has officially announced the launch of its 3-year LLB programme starting from the academic year 2025. Until now, the university only offered the 5-year integrated LLB programme, making this a significant milestone for aspiring law students seeking a standalone graduate-level law course.

With the introduction of the IPU 3-year LLB course, the university now caters to both fresh school graduates and degree holders aiming to enter the legal profession. Admissions to the new course will be based on the IPU LLB Common Entrance Test (CET) 2025, the details of which have been released in the official notification.

What’s New in the IPU 3-Year LLB Programme?

  • First time offering of a 3-year LLB by IPU.
