The long wait for postgraduate medical and dental aspirants has ended. The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, the conducting body for the Institutes of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET) January 2026 session, has officially declared the Round 1 Seat Allocation Result today, December 18, 2025. This provisional merit list is critical for candidates seeking admission to prestigious PG courses across premier institutions like AIIMS, JIPMER, PGIMER, NIMHANS, and SCTIMST. Candidates who participated in the choice-filling process between December 12 and 13 must now download their allotment status and prepare for the next time-bound steps.

 

 Immediate Steps After INI CET Round 1 Allotment

Successful candidates who have been provisionally allotted a seat must now swiftly move to the acceptance and reporting stage. Failing to complete these steps within the deadline will result in the forfeiture of the allotted seat.

  • Download Allotment Letter: Candidates must log in to the official AIIMS portal (aiimsexams.ac.in) to download their Provisional Allotment Letter.
  • Exercise Option: Two primary choices must be exercised online against the allotted seat:
    • Option 1: Accept and Freeze: The candidate is satisfied with the allocated seat and does not wish to participate in subsequent rounds. Mandatory physical reporting is required.
    • Option 2: Accept with Upgradation: The candidate accepts the seat but wishes to be considered for a better-preferred choice in Round 2. Mandatory physical reporting is still required.
  • Security Deposit: Depending on the option chosen and the institute's guidelines, candidates may need to submit original documents or a security deposit of ₹3.00 Lakh at the time of reporting.

The period immediately following the result is extremely short. Aspirants must strictly adhere to the schedule to complete the necessary admission formalities. The entire Round 1 process concludes within six days of the result declaration.

    • MBBS/BDS Degree and Mark Sheets
    • Internship Completion Certificate
    • Permanent/Provisional Medical/Dental Registration Certificate
    • Proof of Date of Birth (e.g., Class 10 Certificate)
  • Category-Specific: Valid OBC (NCL)/EWS certificate issued within the stipulated validity dates, if applicable.
  • Other Mandatory Items: Four passport-size photographs and the security deposit (or original documents) as specified in the result notification. Candidates must ensure their documents are ready for immediate travel and submission.
