- Go to the official website at iiseradmission.in.
- Click on the counseling registration link on the homepage.
- Log in using the login details created during IAT 2026.
- Fill in personal, academic, and category information as required.
- During the choice-filling stage, enter your preferred institutes and courses.
- Review your choices and lock them before the deadline.

What happens after seat allotment?
Seats are assigned based on IAT rank, category, and the choices filled. After the seat is allotted, students are given two options for their seat. They can either freeze or float the seat. Freezing means the student accepts the seat without seeking any better options. Floating means the student keeps the seat but waits for a better opportunity. If the payment is not made within the given time, the seat allotment is lost.
