The counselling process of Indian Institute of Mass Communication have three rounds of seat allotment with document verification and fee payment process. Candidates must complete their registration, fill their choices, and finally locked the choices within the specified time frame to participate in each round.

How to register for the counselling process of Indian Institute of Mass Communication
- Candidates will have to go to the official IIMC admission portal at iimc.admissions.nic.in .
- Candidates should complete the registration at the admission portal of the IIMC webpage by paying the one-time registration fee during the specified time-frame (May 26 to June 7, 2026).
- After the registration, candidates should fill their course and campus preferences on the admission portal of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC).
- Choice locking process must be completed by June 7 to participate in the first round of seat allotment.
First round seat allotment results will be announced on June 9, 2026. Candidates must upload documents and submit acceptance fee from June 9 to June 14 for verification.
Second round seat allotment is scheduled for June 16, 2026. Candidates can modify their willingness status and submit documents between June 16 to June 20.
Third round seat allotment occurs on June 23, 2026. Final document verification and acceptance fee submission window extends from June 23 to June 26.
What shall candidates do now?
Candidates must complete the document upload procedure and acceptance fee payment within stipulated time-frames. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of the allocated seat.
After completing all three rounds of the application process, candidates who accept seats must report for document verification. The academic session is expected to start from early August 2026.
Candidates must register on iimc.admissions.nic.in by June 7, 2026 to participate in the counselling process. Document verification and acceptance fee payment are obligatory at each round to secure the allocated seat.
