The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) has released the vacancy list for the third and likely final spot admission round for 2025. Mass communication aspirants have a very limited window to seize these last-minute seats.

For many mass communication aspirants, the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) is the ultimate destination, and today's news is a final opportunity to secure a seat. The institute has officially released the vacancy position for its Third Spot Round Counselling for the 2025 academic year. This list is a lifeline for candidates who were unable to get into their preferred M.A. or PG Diploma programs during earlier rounds.

The vacancy list, available on the official website iimc.admissions.nic.in, details the last remaining seats across various IIMC institutes, including those in New Delhi, Dhenkanal, Amravati, Aizawl, Jammu, and Kottayam. Students are advised to check the list immediately to see if seats are available in their desired program and category.

Important Details for Spot Round 3

The process for this final round is rapid and time-sensitive. The IIMC 2025 Spot Round 3 Seat Allotment Result has already been released for candidates who completed the registration process by August 6, 2025. Those who find their names on the allotment list must act quickly to confirm their admission.

The next crucial steps for these candidates include:

Online Willingness (Freeze): Candidates must submit their willingness to accept the allotted seat.
Document Upload: All necessary documents must be uploaded to the official portal.
Fee Payment: The first semester fee payment is required to confirm the seat.

All these steps had a very narrow deadline, with the document verification by IIMC scheduled to conclude on August 9, 2025. It is imperative for all shortlisted candidates to have followed these steps without delay.

What This Means for Aspirants

The release of the Third Spot Round list marks the final stages of the IIMC 2025 admissions cycle. For many, this is the last chance to get into a top-tier media and communication school this year. The limited number of vacant seats underscores the high demand and competitive nature of the field. For those who may not have been able to secure a seat in this round, there are still many other outstanding mass communication and journalism programs available across the country.
