Admission Process and Key Milestones for 2025:

Admission to IIM Ranchi's IPM program for the 2025-30 batch is primarily based on the scores obtained in the IPMAT (Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test) conducted by IIM Indore. IPMAT 2025 was held on May 12, 2025, and its results were announced in July 2025.

The selection process for IIM Ranchi IPM involves multiple stages:

1. Shortlisting based on IPMAT 2025 Scores: Candidates are initially shortlisted based on their performance in the IPMAT exam, with specific weightage given to Verbal Ability and Quantitative Aptitude sections.
2. Personal Interview (PI): Shortlisted candidates are invited for a Personal Interview, tentatively conducted in physical mode across various cities including Ranchi, New Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Bangalore during July and August 2025. The PI assesses the candidate's communication skills, general awareness, confidence, and suitability for a management career.
3. Final Merit List: A Consolidated Merit List (CML) is prepared by combining the Aptitude Test Score (IPMAT), Personal Interview Score, and the candidate's Academic Profile (Class 10th and 12th marks). Gender diversity may also be considered by awarding bonus points.

Eligibility Criteria and Program Overview:

Candidates must have passed Class 10th and 12th (or equivalent) examinations with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD categories). Students who appeared for their 12th standard examinations in 2025 were also eligible, provided they met the criteria upon result declaration.

The program has a tentative intake capacity of 120 students. The fee structure for the first three years of the program is approximately INR 15.63 lakhs. Students are also required to complete a Social Internship Immersion Programme (SIIP).
