IIM JAP 2026 Results Declared for MBA Admissions

The IIM JAP 2026 results were officially announced by IIM Raipur on May 7, 2026. IIM Raipur serves as the coordinating institute for the Joint Admission Process. Candidates who are eligible can now view their composite scores and admission status on the official IIM JAP portal. These results are used for admission to MBA programs offered by four top IIMs: IIM Kashipur, IIM Raipur, IIM Ranchi, and IIM Tiruchirappalli. 

How to Check Results and Understand Your Score?

The IIM JAP 2026 admission process evaluates candidates based on a composite score that considers several factors, including the CAT 2025 percentile, marks from Class 10 and Class 12, work experience, and performance in interviews. Candidates who have received admission offers must accept them by May 12, 2026, to confirm their seats. For candidates on the reserve list, waitlist rounds will be conducted from May to July 2026. These rounds will provide additional opportunities for admission through multiple allotment cycles. 

Prospective applicants should go to the official website of the Indian Institute of Management Jammu and use their login details to access their account. After logging in, they need to check the section called "Results" or "Admission Status."

They are advised to download the results document, as it will be useful for the admission process.
Additionally, they will find information about the different score components on the official website. This will help them understand how factors like CAT percentile, educational background, work experience, and interview performance were considered in calculating the final composite score.

The composite score is based on four main criteria according to IIM Jammu's guidelines. The CAT percentile in 2025 is the most significant factor, followed by marks from classes 10 and 12. Work experience is considered an added advantage wherever applicable. Interview performance is also a key part of the composite score and is evaluated by the admission committee.

Important Dates and Admission Confirmation 

The results for IIM JAP 2026 were announced on May 7, 2026. Those who got an admission offer must confirm their acceptance by May 12, 2026. The waitlist rounds are scheduled from May to July 2026. Candidates need to log in to the IIM JAP website using their registration number and password.
Once logged in, they should click on the button labeled "Confirm Admission."

They will also have to upload certain documents like their Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets, CAT admit card, and proof of identity. The confirmation process must be completed by May 12, 2026. If not done by then, the admission offer will be canceled. The students must bring the original and scanned copies of their Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets, along with the CAT 2025 admit card and passport-sized photographs.

In addition to these essential documents, candidates are required to carry a valid form of identity proof such as an Aadhaar card, PAN card, or passport. If a candidate has previous work experience, they should also prepare an employer certificate and appointment letter. The verification of all the documents takes place during the counseling process at the respective IIM after the admission is confirmed.

Waitlist Movement & What Next? 

If a candidate is on the waitlist, they should regularly check the official website of IIM Jammu, as there will be a waitlist round from May to July 2026. Each round may offer opportunities to some candidates because there could be changes as some individuals may accept or decline their admission offers. In every round, the possibility of getting an admission depends on the candidate’s waitlist rank and composite score.
