- Candidate Personal Details:
- Verify your Name, Registration/Roll Number, Date of Birth, and Category (General, SC, ST, OBC-NCL, PwD). Ensure they perfectly match your application and photo ID.
- Check for the clarity and presence of your Photograph and Signature on the printout. If your photo is unclear or missing, you might need to carry a physical copy of the photograph used during registration.
- Examination Details:
- Exam Date: Should be November 30, 2025.
- Test Session/Slot: Check the assigned shift: Morning (Slot 1), Afternoon (Slot 2), or Evening (Slot 3). The slot determines your exact exam time and reporting time.
- Test Centre Address: Locate the precise address of your designated test centre. Plan your route a day before the exam to estimate travel time.
- Mandatory Instructions:
- Reporting Time: Note the mandatory reporting time for your slot. Late entry is strictly prohibited, and gates close 15 minutes before the exam starts.
- Items Allowed/Prohibited: Familiarise yourself with the list of permitted items (e.g., Admit Card, Photo ID) and restricted items (e.g., mobile phones, calculators, watches).
Last 18 Days: Strategic Revision and Exam Day Preparedness
With the exam just over two weeks away from the admit card release date, this period is crucial for fine-tuning your preparation and ensuring logistical readiness. Use the time between November 12 and November 30 for high-impact activities.
- Focus on Maximising Score:
- Intensive Mock Test Analysis: Take a full-length mock test every 1-2 days. Crucially, spend equal time analysing your performance—identify weak areas, re-evaluate your time allocation strategy, and revise concepts based on errors.
- Concept Consolidation: Prioritise revisiting all key formulas, short-cuts, and important notes in Quantitative Ability (QA). For Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), focus on reading and comprehension strategies; avoid learning new words. For Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), practice solving sets under timed conditions to improve speed and selection strategy.
- CAT Mock Test Available: IIM Kozhikode will also make the official CAT Mock Test available on the website starting November 12. Aspirants must take this mock test to familiarise themselves with the exact interface and question pattern of CAT 2025.
- The Exam Day Kit:
- Admit Card: Carry your printed CAT 2025 Admit Card (preferably the same printout you checked) and save a digital copy for backup.
- Original Photo ID: Carry one original, valid photo identification proof (e.g., Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, Driving License) as mentioned in your application. Photocopies are not accepted.
- Photograph: Keep an extra passport-size photograph (same as the one uploaded) just in case it is required at the centre.
- No Other Items: Remember, no electronic gadgets, stationery (pen/pencil/paper will be provided), or personal belongings are allowed inside the testing lab.
- Mental & Physical Readiness:
- Maintain Routine: Ensure you maintain a regular sleep schedule, especially in the week before the exam. Aim to be fully alert during your assigned test slot time.
- Stay Calm and Confident: Trust your months of hard work. Avoid discussing tricky questions with peers in the final days. A relaxed and confident mind is your best asset on exam day.
