The result includes the list of candidates selected for admission to the flagship MBA programme. Shortlisted candidates will also receive their official admission offer letters via email. The announcement comes after the completion of the final selection process, which included the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.

For MBA admissions, Indian Institute of Management Calcutta shortlisted candidates based on their CAT 2025 scores, followed by performance in the WAT-PI rounds. The final merit list has been prepared using a composite score, which takes into account multiple parameters such as CAT performance, interview performance, academic background, and work experience.

As per the selection criteria, the highest weightage has been given to the Personal Interview (48%), followed by CAT score (30%). Other components include Written Ability Test (8%), work experience (8%), and academic diversity (6%), bringing the total evaluation to 100%.

Candidates can check their admission status by visiting the official website, selecting the MBA 2026–2028 admission result link, and logging in using their CAT 2025 ID and registered email ID. The result will display whether the candidate has been selected, waitlisted, or not selected.

Selected candidates are required to confirm their admission by accepting the offer within the given deadline and paying a token admission fee, which will be adjusted against the total programme fee. Failing to complete the admission formalities within the specified timeline may lead to cancellation of the offer.
