How do you check the UGEE 2026 result?

• Applicants need to go to the official UGEE website at ugadmissions.iiit.ac.in to see their results.
• To access the results, they must log in using their registration number and password, which they receive when they apply.
• Once logged in, the results will be displayed on the results page.
• Candidates can check their scores, rank, and the call letter for the interview. 
• Those who are shortlisted will get a call letter that includes the date and time of the interview.
• Applicants are required to download and print the call letter for their interview.
• If they notice any errors or issues with the call letter, they should inform the admission authority right away.

Overview of UGEE 2026 BTech + MS Dual Degree Program

The dual-degree program spans five years and includes both a B.Tech and a Master of Science by Research.
After completing the program successfully, students will receive two degrees. They can choose to specialize in areas like computer science, electronics, and other engineering fields. In this dual degree program, students are encouraged to engage in research alongside their regular studies. The program focuses on building both theoretical knowledge and research skills among the students.

Checking PGEE 2026 Results

Students need to visit the pgadmissions.iiit.ac.in website to check their results from the postgraduate entrance examination. To log in, they must use the login credentials they created when filling out the online application. On the result sheet, candidates can see their scores, ranks, and the date of their interview. If they have been selected, they will receive a letter with details about their interview schedule for the M.Tech, MS by Research, and Ph.D. programs. This letter will include all necessary information about the interview, such as the date, time, and place. Students should make sure they confirm their attendance and arrange for travel well in advance to reach the interview location on time.

PGEE 2026 Interview Procedure for M.Tech/MS(R)

Students applying for the Master of Technology and Master of Science by Research programs must attend the interview on June 10 and 11, 2026. The interview will assess the candidates' technical knowledge, communication skills, and research potential in their chosen fields. Candidates are encouraged to prepare questions related to their area of specialization. The interviewers will mostly be faculty members from the relevant department.

PGEE 2026 Interview for Ph.D. Programs

Ph.D. interviews will be held on June 12 and 13, 2026, on the campus of IIIT Hyderabad. Candidates who have done exceptionally well in the GATE exam may be directly invited for the interview. The Ph.D. interviews will mainly focus on the candidate’s research experience and their future research interests.
Before the interview, candidates are required to write a research proposal or a statement of interest.
During the interview, the panel will evaluate the candidate's research aptitude and interest in the field of study of the faculty member. Admission to Ph.D. programs is primarily based on the interview performance.

For M.Tech, candidates need to go through their main subjects again in their chosen field and keep themselves updated with the newest things happening in their area of focus.For MS(R), candidates should work on their research plans and be ready to talk in detail about their research topics. Those aiming for a Ph.D. should show strong interest in research, have good academic background, and clearly explain their future research goals. Candidates are advised to look at the recent work and papers published by professors at IIIT Hyderabad. They should be ready to link their research interests with the expertise of the professors there. It would also be useful to practice explaining technical terms in a simple and easy-to-understand manner.

Future for Students

After the interview is over, IIIT Hyderabad will announce the final admission results. The selected candidates will receive offer letters that include important details about the steps they need to take for enrollment. They must complete all the required admission processes within the given time. Also, the selected candidates should handle their accommodation and other issues related to starting at the institution.
