ICSI CSEET June 2027 Registration Open at smash.icsi.edu; Last Date 28 February

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has opened the registration window for the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) June 2027 session. Candidates seeking admission to the CS Executive Programme through the entrance route must complete their registration on the official ICSI portal—smash.icsi.edu—by 28 February 2027 .

Registration, however, does not automatically confirm a seat for the June examination. ICSI requires candidates to complete a separate examination enrolment step between 16 March and 15 April 2027. Candidates who miss this window may enrol with a late fee from 16 to 20 April 2027 .

Registration vs Enrolment: Two Separate Steps

This is the most critical distinction for first-time applicants. CSEET registration creates the candidate's student profile with ICSI and includes access to the Student Induction Programme (SIP) and online classes. Examination enrolment selects the specific June 2027 session and generates the admit card eligibility .

Candidates who register but skip the enrolment window will not be permitted to appear for the June 2027 examination, even though their registration remains valid.

CSEET Registration Fees

The CSEET registration fee is ₹7,500, payable at the time of initial registration. This amount includes the Student Induction Programme and online classes. The examination fee is ₹1,500 per session, paid separately during the enrolment window .

ICSI provides fee concessions for specific categories, including SC/ST candidates, persons with disabilities, and students from designated regions. Candidates claiming concessions must provide valid category certificates during registration .

CSEET Eligibility

Candidates are eligible to register for CSEET if they have:

• Passed Class 12 or equivalent, or
• Appeared for Class 12 or equivalent (provisional registration), or
• Passed Class 10 (provisional registration, subject to later submission of Class 12 documents)
• Provisional registrants must provide their Class 12 admit card or mark sheet before being permitted to appear for CSEET.

Exam Pattern and Mode

ICSI has restructured CSEET from the June 2026 session onward. The examination is now conducted in centre-based pen-and-paper mode over four days. The test comprises four papers:

• Business Communication (subjective, 100 marks)
• Fundamentals of Accounting (subjective, 100 marks)
• Economic and Business Environment (subjective, 100 marks)
• Business Laws and Management (OMR-based, 100 marks)

Exact examination dates for June 2027 have not yet been announced. ICSI is expected to release the timetable closer to the session.

How to Register for CSEET June 2027

1. Visit smash.icsi.edu
2. Create a new candidate account with a valid email and mobile number
3. Complete the online registration form with personal and academic details
4. Upload scanned photograph (20–50 KB) and signature (10–20 KB) in prescribed format
5. Pay the ₹7,500 registration fee online
6. Download the registration confirmation and note your student ID

What Happens After Registration

Registered candidates must complete the Student Induction Programme (SIP) within the prescribed timeline. ICSI mandates SIP completion before examination enrolment. Candidates then return to the portal during the March–April 2027 enrolment window, select their exam centre, and pay the ₹1,500 examination fee to confirm their June 2027 appearance .

Registration Validity

CSEET registration remains valid for three years from the month of registration. Candidates who do not clear the examination in their first attempt can appear for subsequent sessions during this validity period without re-registering, provided they complete examination enrolment for each session .
