How to Check Your IBS Admission 2026 Selection Result

Aspirants are advised to log in to the candidate portal promptly to check their admission status and download their provisional offer letters.

1. Visit the official ICFAI portal: ibsindia.org.
2. Locate and click on the 'Selection Process Results' tab on the homepage.
3. Enter your Application Number and Password (generated during the IBSAT 2025 registration).
4. The screen will display your qualifying status and the campus allotted based on your merit and preference.
5. Action Required: Download the result and save the admission letter for the physical verification stage.

What’s Next for Selected Candidates?

Securing a spot in the final merit list is just the beginning of the enrollment journey.

• Fee Payment: Selected candidates must pay the initial admission fee within the stipulated timeframe mentioned in their offer letter to confirm their seat. Failure to do so will result in the seat being offered to the next candidate on the waitlist.
• Document Readiness: Keep your original academic transcripts (10th, 12th, and Graduation), IBSAT 2025/CAT/NMAT/GMAT scorecards, and work experience certificates ready.
• Campus Reporting: Candidates will be required to report to their respective allotted campuses (Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, or Dehradun) for the orientation program in the coming months.

Selection Criteria Breakdown

The final admission decision was based on a holistic evaluation of the candidate’s profile. While the IBSAT 2025 (or equivalent) score served as the entry ticket, the final weightage was distributed across:

1. Selection Process Performance: MP and PI scores.
2. Academic Consistency: Past academic records.
3. Work Experience: Quality and duration of professional background.

Waitlist Movement

Candidates who find themselves on the waitlist should not lose hope. Historically, IBS sees a secondary movement in the waitlist after the first round of fee payments as students finalize their choices between different B-schools.
