It is meant for MBA and MCA courses in institutes connected with HPTU. The university has placed the timetable on its official portal, himtu.ac.in. The initial seat allocation outcome is set to be announced on July 20, 2026. Eligibility is limited to applicants who filed the counseling form before the deadline. Seat assignment will be determined using HPCET rank, reservation group, and the options you finalized.

Program Included in HPCET Counselling

This phase of counseling includes MBA and MCA seats available through HPTU. The same timeline also covers the MBA in Tourism and Hospitality Management.

HPCET Counselling Charges

HPTU collects a non-returnable counseling charge that varies by category. Fees can be paid solely via online methods. 

Payment can be made using net banking, a debit card, or a credit card. Once the amount is submitted, it will not be returned.

Papers Needed for HPCET Counselling

Applicants should have scanned versions prepared along with the original documents. Verification happens during the allocation process and again afterward.

Those who registered may check the first allocation result on the internet. On the announced date, the link will be available on the official site.

1. Go to the official portal, himtu.ac.in.
2. Select the login option for HPCET 2026 counseling.
3. Type in your registration ID along with your password.
4. Check the assigned institute and program information.
5. Save the seat allocation letter for later reference.

What Happens After Seat Allocation?

Students who receive a seat must finish document checking within the stated period. Both the uploaded files and the originals are examined. Next, candidates submit the admission fee to secure the assigned seat. Finally, they must appear at the designated institute for reporting.
