HPCET 2026 Exam Pattern & Important Instructions

The HPCET 2026 examination pattern for B.Tech and B.Pharmacy will include 150 objective-type questions covering subjects like physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biology. The total marks for the exam will be 600, and candidates will have 3 hours and 15 minutes to complete the test.

For MBA and MCA programs, the exam will consist of approximately 100 questions on topics such as verbal ability, quantitative aptitude, reasoning, and general awareness. The duration of the HPCET 2026 exam for MBA and MCA candidates will be 2 hours. 

Important Documents Needed While Using HPCET 2026 Admit Card

All candidates taking part in the HPCET 2026 examination are required to carry their admit card along with a valid form of identification. These documents include the Aadhaar card, passport, driving license, or PAN card. The admit card will have several key details such as the candidate's name, roll number, photo, signature, exam date and time, and the address of the exam center. If a candidate notices any mistake on the admit card, they should inform the HIMTU officials immediately. It must be noted that the assigned exam center cannot be changed in any case.
