Key Details on the Scorecard
The downloadable MAT scorecard is a critical document for your management admission process. It contains several important details, including:
- Candidate Information: Your name, roll number, and form number.
- Test Details: The mode of the exam (PBT or CBT) and the date.
- Sectional Scores: Scaled scores (out of 100) for the four main sections: Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis & Sufficiency, and Intelligence & Critical Reasoning. The Indian & Global Environment section score is also reported but is generally not included in the overall percentile calculation.
- Overall Composite Score: A total scaled score, reported typically on a scale from 199 to 801.
- Overall Percentile: This indicates the percentage of candidates who scored less than you and is the most important factor for B-school shortlisting.
A high percentile (often 80-90+) is generally required to secure admission to the more popular MBA/PGDM colleges that accept MAT scores. The score is valid for admission for one year.
For regular updates, follow Only Education News and keep checking the official AIMA website. The next session of MAT will be held in December 2025.
