Aspiring management students who appeared for the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) September 2025 session can generally expect their results to be available for download in the second week of October 2025.

The MAT result will be released exclusively online on the official AIMA-MAT website. No physical scorecards will be sent to candidates. Aspirants should follow these steps to access and download their score:

  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to the official AIMA MAT website, which is usually https://mat.aima.in/.
  2. Locate the Result Link: Look for the link related to the MAT Result for the September 2025 session on the homepage or in the main navigation menu.
  3. Log in to the Candidate Portal: You will be prompted to enter your login credentials, which typically include your MAT Registration Number and Date of Birth or Email ID.
  4. View and Download Scorecard: Once logged in, the MAT 2025 scorecard for the September session will be displayed on the screen. It is crucial for candidates to download and save a copy of the scorecard. It is also recommended to take multiple printouts, as this document is mandatory for the MBA/PGDM admission process and subsequent selection rounds at various B-schools.

Key Details on the Scorecard

The downloadable MAT scorecard is a critical document for your management admission process. It contains several important details, including:

  • Candidate Information: Your name, roll number, and form number.
  • Test Details: The mode of the exam (PBT or CBT) and the date.
  • Sectional Scores: Scaled scores (out of 100) for the four main sections: Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis & Sufficiency, and Intelligence & Critical Reasoning. The Indian & Global Environment section score is also reported but is generally not included in the overall percentile calculation.
  • Overall Composite Score: A total scaled score, reported typically on a scale from 199 to 801.
  • Overall Percentile: This indicates the percentage of candidates who scored less than you and is the most important factor for B-school shortlisting.

A high percentile (often 80-90+) is generally required to secure admission to the more popular MBA/PGDM colleges that accept MAT scores. The score is valid for admission for one year.

For regular updates, follow Only Education News and keep checking the official AIMA website. The next session of MAT will be held in December 2025.
