The Department of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Haryana, has officially released the revised provisional merit list-cum-allotment of seats for the third round of the Haryana NEET UG Counselling 2025. This significant update pertains to admissions for MBBS and BDS courses for the current academic session. Aspiring medical and dental students in Haryana should immediately check their allotment status on the official website.

Key Highlights of the Round 3 Allotment

The provisional allotment list, which was released on November 3, 2025, includes a total of 3,682 candidates who have been shortlisted for seats in various government, government-aided, and private medical and dental colleges across the state. This includes institutions affiliated with private universities like SGT University, Maharishi Markandeshwar University, and Al-Falah Medical College.

  • Total Shortlisted Candidates: 3,682
  • Seat Upgradations: A notable 254 candidates have had their previously allotted seats upgraded in this round, reflecting shifts based on merit and fresh choices.
  • Basis of Allotment: The seat allocation has been strictly based on the candidates' NEET UG 2025 scores/ranks, the preferences (choices) they submitted during the choice filling and locking window (which had a re-conducted period from October 30 to October 31, 2025), their respective categories, and the available seat matrix.

Action Required by Shortlisted Candidates

Candidates who find their names on the provisional allotment list must adhere to the following crucial steps and deadlines to secure their admission:

  1. Check Allotment Status: Candidates must visit the official counselling portal, https://uhsrugcounselling.com, to check their provisional seat allocation status.
  2. Download Allotment Letters: The provisional admission/allotment letters can be downloaded from the official portal starting from November 5, 2025, through November 8, 2025. This letter is mandatory for the next steps.
  3. Deposit Provisional Tuition Fee: Candidates provisionally allotted a seat must deposit the requisite provisional tuition fee online through the admission web portal. This payment window is very short, from November 3 to November 4, 2025 (upto 8:00 PM). Failure to pay the fee within the deadline will lead to forfeiture of the allotted seat.
  4. Physical Document Verification: This is a mandatory step. Candidates who have been provisionally allotted a seat and successfully deposited the tuition fee must appear in person for physical document verification.
    • Venue: Sushruta Auditorium, Pt. B. D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak.
    • Dates: November 5 to November 7, 2025 (09:00 AM onwards). Candidates must carry all original documents as specified in the prospectus.
  5. Joining the Allotted Institute: The last date for joining/reporting to the finally allotted institute and completing all admission formalities is November 8, 2025 (upto 4:00 PM).

Important Notes for Aspirants

  • Grievance Redressal: Any discrepancies related to the provisional allotment list had a narrow window for grievances, which had to be raised only through the admission portal.
  • Document Verification is Key: Admission is provisional until all documents are physically verified and found to be correct and valid. Personal appearance is compulsory.
  • Forfeiture of Seat: Candidates who fail to complete any of the above steps—like fee payment, document verification, or reporting to the allotted college by the last date—will have their provisional seat allotment canceled and may face forfeiture of their security deposit.

Aspirants are strongly advised to keep a close watch on the official website of the Department of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Haryana, and the admission web portal for any further updates or notices. For regular updates, follow Only Education News.
