How to Check the Round 1 Allotment Result
- Visit the official portal at medadmgujarat.org.
- Click on the Round 1 seat allotment link on the homepage.
- Open either the rank-wise or institute-wise allotment PDF.
- Search using your NEET UG roll number or merit rank.
- Note the allotted college and course for reporting.
How to Pay the Tuition Fee
- Fee payment is accepted only at designated HDFC Bank branches across Gujarat.
- Online transfer or third-party payment modes are not accepted.
- Fee amount varies by college type — government college fees are lower than self-financed institution fees.
- Candidates must collect and preserve the bank challan, which is required at the time of physical reporting.
Documents Required at Reporting
Candidates must carry originals along with one set of self-attested photocopies:
- NEET UG 2026 admit card and scorecard
- Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and passing certificates
- School leaving or transfer certificate
- Domicile certificate of Gujarat
- Caste certificate (for SC, ST or SEBC candidates)
- Non-creamy layer certificate valid on or after April 1, 2026 (for SEBC)
- EWS certificate (for EWS category candidates)
- Physical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner
- HDFC Bank fee payment challan
- Two recent passport-size photographs
What Happens If a Candidate Does Not Report?
- Failure to pay the fee by September 3 results in loss of the allotted seat.
- Failure to report to the college by September 5 has the same outcome.
- Such vacated seats are added to the Round 2 vacancy pool.
- Candidates wanting a better college in Round 2 can opt for upgradation during Round 2 registration; details will follow via a separate notification.
Why This Matters
Gujarat runs one of the largest state-level medical counselling drives in India, and Round 1 offers the strongest chance of securing a preferred government MBBS or BDS seat, as vacancies shrink sharply from Round 2 onwards.
