How to Read the Mopwise Cutoff Data

Candidates should locate the row matching their preferred college and compare it against their own state merit rank. A rank number lower than the listed cutoff signals a strong chance of allotment. Closing ranks vary sharply between cities such as Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat and Rajkot, with government seats generally closing at much stronger ranks than self-financed ones.

Which Colleges Are Covered?

Round 1 cutoff data covers government medical colleges, GIA colleges and self-financed institutes, including BJ Medical College Ahmedabad, Medical College Vadodara, and SMIMER Surat. Dental seats span the Government Dental College Ahmedabad along with private dental colleges, each with separate closing ranks per category and quota.

Why This Cutoff Matters

Round 1 sets the benchmark for the entire counselling season. Closing ranks typically stretch further in later rounds as higher-ranked candidates upgrade to better colleges, so these figures help students plan their Round 2 preferences with realistic expectations.
