• Fresh Registration: Candidates who did not register in Round 1 will have a limited window to do so. This is a vital step to become part of the counselling process.
• Choice Filling: All candidates, whether new or those from Round 1, must fill their choices again for Round 2. It is recommended to be strategic and well-informed about the seats vacated after Round 1 to improve chances of a successful allotment.
• Provisional Merit List: The ACPUGMEC is expected to release a new provisional merit list for Round 2 participants before the seat allotment result.

This new phase of counselling is a chance for medical aspirants to adjust their preferences based on the cutoffs and seat availability from the first round. Securing a seat in a medical college is a major step toward a successful medical career, and staying updated with the official announcements is key.
