Gujarat NEET UG 2025: Round 2 Counselling Registration Begins Today

The Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Courses (ACPUGMEC) has officially commenced the online registration and choice-filling process for the second round of NEET UG 2025 counselling. This round is a vital chance for thousands of medical and dental aspirants who either did not secure a seat in the first round or are looking to upgrade their previously allotted colleges in Gujarat. The entire process is being conducted on the official ACPUGMEC website, ensuring a centralized and accessible platform for all eligible candidates.

Following the completion of Round 1 admissions, a significant number of seats have become available. These include seats that remained vacant from the initial round, seats that were not accepted by candidates, and those that have been vacated by students opting for a better college or course. This second round provides a crucial opportunity to fill these seats and finalize admissions for the academic year.

Important Dates and Key Steps

The ACPUGMEC has released a clear and concise schedule to guide aspirants through the Round 2 counselling process. It is imperative that candidates adhere to these deadlines to ensure their participation. The key dates are as follows:

• Online Registration & Fee Payment: The registration and payment window will be active from August 25, 2025, to August 28, 2025. This is a mandatory step for all candidates, including those who registered for Round 1 but were not allotted a seat.
• Online Choice Filling & Locking: The choice-filling process, where candidates select their preferred colleges and courses, will also be conducted during this period. The choices must be locked before the deadline, as they cannot be changed later.
• Seat Allotment Result: The result for Round 2 seat allotment is tentatively scheduled to be released on August 31, 2025.
• Reporting to Colleges: Candidates who are successfully allotted a seat must report to their respective colleges with all necessary documents for verification and admission between September 2 and September 5, 2025.

Candidates who are already satisfied with their Round 1 allotment and have reported to their college but have not opted for an upgrade are not eligible to participate in this round.
