Gujarat NEET MDS 2026 Counselling: Highlights

Who Can Apply?

Only candidates who have qualified NEET MDS 2026 are eligible to participate in Gujarat's counselling process.

The eligibility is based on the minimum qualifying percentile prescribed for NEET MDS 2026 along with other conditions such as domicile requirements and category-specific eligibility.

Minimum Qualifying Marks

Candidates applying under the NRI quota should also check the separate eligibility guidelines available on the official admission portal.

One Counselling Process for All MDS Seats

One of the biggest advantages of Gujarat's admission system is that all MDS seats are filled through a single centralized counselling process.

The counselling includes:

• Government Quota (GQ) seats in government dental colleges
• Management Quota (MQ) seats in private institutions
• NRI Quota (NQ) seats

Since admissions are completely merit-based, there is no provision for direct or offline admissions. Seat allotment will depend on the candidate's NEET MDS 2026 rank, reservation category, and seat availability.

Why This Counselling Is Important

Gujarat follows a single-window admission system, ensuring transparency and fairness across all MDS admissions. Whether candidates are applying for Government, Management, or NRI quota seats, everyone must participate through the ACPPGMEC counselling portal.

This centralized process eliminates the possibility of separate or offline admissions and ensures that every seat is allotted purely on merit.

• Read the official counselling instructions carefully.
• Keep all required documents scanned and ready.
• Complete online registration without waiting for the last day.
