Aspiring management professionals, the Goa Institute of Management (GIM) has set a crucial CAT 2025 application deadline for its PGDM programs on December 23, 2025. This date is vital for all candidates who appeared for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025. Applying by this deadline ensures your profile is considered in a key evaluation cycle, streamlining the score integration process once CAT results are out. GIM offers specialized full-time PGDM courses in Core Management, Healthcare Management (HCM), Big Data Analytics (BDA), and Banking, Insurance & Financial Services (BIFS). Secure your chance at one of India's leading B-schools by completing your online application today.

The Goa Institute of Management (GIM), a premier B-school ranked among the best in India, has issued a final reminder to all aspirants seeking admission to its highly-regarded Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programs for the 2026-28 batch. The critical deadline for all applicants basing their candidature on the CAT 2025 score is December 23, 2025. While the final application submission window extends slightly, this specific 'CAT Deadline' is crucial for efficient profile processing and evaluation. Missing this date could lead to delays or reduced visibility in the competitive application pool.

Key Deadlines and Application Strategy

GIM has a structured application process with several deadlines, each carrying a different fee structure. With the 'Achiever’s Round' now closed, the focus shifts entirely to the imminent CAT deadline. Adhering to this timeline is a strategic advantage for applicants.

  • Crucial Dates to Note:
    • Achiever Round Deadline: Closed on December 4, 2025.
    • CAT Deadline: December 23, 2025. This is the recommended last date for all CAT 2025 takers.
    • Final Deadline: January 2, 2026 (Last date for all applications irrespective of the exam).
  • Why Apply by December 23rd?
    • Seamless Score Integration: Applying by this deadline allows GIM to align your application for immediate processing as soon as the CAT 2025 results (typically released in the third or fourth week of December) are electronically shared by the IIMs.
    • Early Evaluation Cycle: Your profile is assessed earlier alongside other CAT-based applicants in a dedicated evaluation phase, potentially enhancing your overall candidature visibility.
    • Focus on Interview Prep: Submitting your form frees up crucial time to prepare for the subsequent selection rounds, which include the Written Aptitude Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).

Overview of PGDM Programs and Eligibility

GIM offers four full-time PGDM programs, each tailored to specific industry needs. Candidates can apply for one or more programs using a single application form.

  • GIM PGDM Full-Time Programs (2026-28):

    • PGDM - Health Care Management (HCM): Specialized course for the healthcare sector. Intake: 120
    • PGDM - Big Data Analytics (BDA): Focuses on data science and business analytics. Intake: 180
    • PGDM - Banking, Insurance & Financial Services (BIFS): Niche program for the BFSI sector. Intake: 120
  • Eligibility Criteria:
    • A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in a Bachelor's Degree (45% for SC/ST).
    • Candidates in the final year of their degree, who will complete all requirements by June 5, 2026, are eligible to apply.
    • The mandatory competitive exams accepted are CAT 2025, XAT 2026, or GMAT (taken between Jan 1, 2024, and Jan 15, 2026).
    • Candidates applying for PGDM (BDA) and the International Double Degree in Analytics (IDA) must also appear for the GIM Analytics Aptitude Test (GAAT).

GIM Selection Criteria and Weightages

The final admission process at GIM is holistic, meaning it assesses candidates on various non-score parameters to ensure a well-rounded batch profile. The maximum weightage is given to the entrance exam score.
