  1. Delhi Reserved Category Eligibility: A candidate can claim a seat under the Delhi Reserved category (like SC/ST) only if their qualifying examination (Class 11th and 12th) was passed from an institute/college located in Delhi, and their reservation certificate (e.g., SC/ST certificate) was issued by the Competent Authority of Delhi.
  2. Outside Delhi Reserved Category: If a candidate passed their qualifying examination from Outside Delhi, they are eligible only for the Outside Delhi Reserved category, regardless of where their certificate was issued.
  3. OBC-NCL and EWS Certificates: For the OBC-NCL category (which has a 27% reservation only in University Schools and Government Institutions), the certificate must be digitally signed and issued to an original resident of Delhi prior to 1993. Furthermore, for both OBC-NCL and EWS categories, the certificates must have a validity period for the financial year 2025-2026. The EWS certificate must be issued after March 31, 2025.

Candidates whose documents are not in compliance with these strict rules risk having their reservation claim forfeited, automatically converting their candidature to the General Category as per university regulations.
