Gujarat Common Admission Service (GCAS) has started the process of online registration for 2026-27 graduation, 12 months from 7th May 2026. Candidates who are eligible to register can use the centralized admission site, gcas.gujgov.edu.in, to accomplish it before the 28th of May, 2026. The online registration window could be held for 21 days, during which time students are expected to apply for diverse applications for undergraduate courses provided by national and private universities in Gujarat.
Overall, more than 3 lakh students who have effectively cleared the GSEB Class 12 exams are eligible to take part in the admission mode. Students who are a hit in GUJCET 2026 will also be able to apply for diverse student packages using the GCAS portal. This portal is providing an unbroken admission method via supporting candidates' coaching for admission to several universities via a centralized online portal, thus eliminating the need to spend, for my part, time at each college.

The application process for the 2026 UG admission requires candidates to pay a non-refundable application fee during the registration process on the GCAS portal. The fee amount is Rs 300 for candidates belonging to the Unreserved and SEBC categories, while candidates from SC, ST, and EWS categories are required to pay only Rs 150. This fee must be paid without fail to ensure the application process is completed successfully; it is a non-refundable charge.
Registration Process for GCAS 2026 UG Admission
- Candidates are required to visit the official GCAS website at gcas.gujgov.edu.in and select the quick registration link for new candidates.
- Then, they must enter all the personal, academic, and educational details in the application form.
- After submitting all the required information, candidates must pay the registration fee via the GSEB portal.
Finally, after completing these steps, candidates must save all the details and submit the application form before May 28, 2026.
Future Steps for Students
Once the last round of admissions ends on June 29, 2026, students who got their seats will get admission letters from their assigned colleges. The whole counseling process and checking of documents will happen as per the schedule set by GCAS.
