GAT MBA 2026 Exam Conducted Successfully Across Test Centres

The Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) successfully conducted its management entrance test, known as GAT MBA 2026, on February 22. This university-level exam was held at various test centres across India for students seeking admission into MBA programs at the Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru campuses. Most students reported that the exam was organized well and followed the expected schedule without any technical issues.

According to the official GITAM University guidelines, the entrance test was a computer-based exam consisting of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Candidates were tested on their skills in language comprehension, logical reasoning, and quantitative reasoning. Each section carried equal weight, and the paper was designed to check how quickly and accurately a student can solve problems.

Quick Analysis of the Exam

Most candidates who appeared for the test found the difficulty level to be "easy to moderate." The language section was the simplest for many, while some found the quantitative reasoning part a bit lengthy. Unlike many other MBA entrance exams, this entrance test is known for being student-friendly because there is no negative marking. This allowed students to attempt all 200 questions without the fear of losing marks for wrong guesses.

A unique part of the GAT MBA 2026 admission process is that the Personal Interview (PI) rounds are often conducted on the same day or shortly after the written test. This helps the university finish the selection process quickly. Experts from the GITAM GAT Portal mentioned that a good score in the written test combined with a confident interview performance would be the key to securing a seat in the 2026-2028 batch.

Important Dates and Next Steps

The university usually announces the results very fast. Students can check their scorecards and rank by logging into the official results page using their hall ticket number and date of birth.

If a student missed the February session, they do not need to worry. The university conducts the GAT MBA 2026 in multiple phases throughout the year. The next phase of the exam is expected to happen in March. Students should keep their documents ready for the final admission process, including their 10th and 12th-grade marks, graduation certificates, and the GAT scorecard.

Securing admission in a top-tier university like GITAM requires consistent preparation and a clear understanding of basic concepts. Candidates are advised to keep checking the university website for the merit list and fee payment deadlines.
