Admit cards for the Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology (GAT-B) and Biotechnology Aptitude Test (BET) 2026 had been released through the National Testing Agency (NTA) on the thirteenth of May, 2026.

Admit cards for the Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology (GAT-B) and Biotechnology Aptitude Test (BET) 2026 had been released through the National Testing Agency (NTA) on the thirteenth of May, 2026. Admit cards can now be downloaded by these college students at the professional level NTA assessment. GAT-B and BET will be conducted on May 17, 2026, in CBT mode in fifty-four cities across India. The GAT-B is a test administered for admission to DBT-supported educational programs in biotechnology and related disciplines. BET is the qualifying country comprehensively looked at and carried out for the selection of doctoral research fellowships awarded under the DBT Junior Research Fellowship program. Both tests could be done on the same day but in separate classes.

Steps for GAT-B and BET 2026 Hall Ticket/Admit Card Download

To download admit cards, candidates should visit the reliable internet site of NTA, which is tests.nta.nic.in. Candidates must use their application number and password to access their admit card download website. The admit card contains statistics like the exam center, date, time, and data of the candidate. Students will want to check the info stated in the admit card carefully. The admission card can be issued to the applicant conditionally and could be legal if he/she meets the eligibility requirements. Applicants cannot make any kind of changes inside the admission card, and they cannot damage the defaced price tag. They should ensure that they get a printout of the admit card on A4 size paper.

As far as distance and admit card are concerned, no March tickets could be delivered to the candidate through postal mail. They can be easily downloaded from the NTA website. During investigations, they should carry a broadcast admit card; a photo similar to the photo submitted at the time of registration; and government-issued photo ID proof like a PAN card, driver's license, etc. Also, people who claim to be relaxed in the PwD/PwBD category need to surrender their certificates additionally. A transparent ballpoint pen next to a 50 ml hand sanitizer is also allowed. 

Evidence Samples of GAT-B and BET 2026

According to the examination pattern, there may be one hundred and sixty questions in GAT-B on the verge of being similarly divided into two parts, and the total duration of the GAT-B examination may be one hundred and eighty minutes; this is three hours. Section A consists of 60 questions, which are compulsory questions of 10+2 level, and each question will give 1 mark. In phase B, there may be 100 questions, out of which students need to strive for the most effective 60 questions. Each question gives three points. In the case of BET, the examination may be 180 minutes long and have 200 questions in parts, of which 100 questions will be attempted with the help of the candidates.

Examination center cities for GAT-B and BET 2026 exams in 54 cities

According to the statement made, GAT-B and BET exams in 2026 can be conducted in fifty-four cities across India. The allocation of the examination center city is carried out in accordance with the candidate selection noted under the software method. It will not be possible to trade the allocation of the city as soon as the editing window closes.

GAT-B and BET 2026 Notification Period and Entrance Rules

The candidates should register at the examination center as per the notice period specified in their admit card so as not to cause redundancy. Access to the examination center will be closed 30 minutes before the start of the examination. No access will be allowed past that factor. Biometric record collection and identification verification will be carried out for the applicants at the testing center.

Unrelated articles and restrictions

Applicants are specifically prohibited from bringing mobile phones, calculators, digital devices, any kind of text cloth, or various stationary objects into the examination hall. The candidate may not smoke, chew gum, or spit anywhere during the examination process. If any candidate is determined to be in possession of such an unauthorized share, he/she shall be treated as guilty of using unfair means.

What lies ahead for the students

Once the examination is over, NTA will upload the recorded solutions and provisional answer keys on its official internet site. Applicants having doubts regarding any part of the resolution keys can vent them with a handling fee of ₹200 per person objection raised. Final marking is completed on the basis of the final solution keys after scrutiny of all objections with the help of language experts. Scorecards of candidates can be downloaded from the NTA website only.
