A vital announcement has been issued by the Faculty of Medical Sciences College (FMSC), Delhi University, for NEET qualified candidates seeking admission under the CW (Children of War/Widows of Armed Forces Personnel) category for various undergraduate medical courses under the 85% Delhi State Quota. The notification specifically addresses the documentation required for these aspirants for the Academic Session 2025-26, with a stringent deadline approaching.

The FMSC has urged all eligible candidates applying for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, and BHMS courses under the CW category to promptly submit their relevant documents relating to CW concession/entitlement. This crucial step is part of the admission process for the upcoming academic year.

Crucial Deadline and Submission Process:

Submission Window: The dedicated online portal for document submission opened on July 5, 2025.

Absolute Deadline: The portal will close on July 9, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. This provides a very limited window, making immediate action imperative for affected candidates.

How to Submit: To upload the required documents, candidates must visit the official website of the FMSC, navigate to the homepage, and locate the "Course updates of MBBS/BDS" section. From there, they will find the specific link to submit their CW category documents on the official Delhi University portal.

While the notice does not detail the exact list of "specific documents or forms," it emphasizes the submission of "relevant documents relating to CW concession/entitlement." This typically refers to certificates and proofs substantiating the candidate's claim under the various priorities of the CW category.

Verification Process and What’s Next:

Following the submission deadline, the consolidated list of registered candidates on the CW portal will undergo a thorough verification process. This initial verification will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Admission Committee (Undergraduate) [MCAC (UG)] to ascertain eligibility as per the norms of the University of Delhi.

Subsequently, the list of eligible candidates, along with their application forms and relevant documents, will be forwarded to the Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB), PMA Cell, Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) for Priority V (vii & x), and to the Warb, MHA for the remaining Priorities (Priority I to V only) for further verification.

Medical aspirants falling under the CW category who are seeking Higher Education in Delhi's government medical colleges are strongly advised to act without delay. Failing to submit the required documentation by the July 9, 2025, 5:00 p.m. deadline could lead to the rejection of their application under this special category, impacting their admission chances.
